White Ether are a Caernarfon, North Wales, based band playing original material influenced by late 70's rock, punk and new wave. They got together in early 2015 when three members of another Caernarfon band, DFA, decided on a fresh start. Iolo Jones (Drums), Sion Parry (Bass) and Keith Morris (Guitar), were joined by Steve Crocker(Guitar) and John David Morris(Vocals), and began rehearsing. Initially concentrating on a number of DFA songs, these were gradually complemented by some new compositions.

Rhys Mwyn, former bassist of legendary Welsh punk band Anhrefn, replaced Sion and after a few months’ solid rehearsing the band played their first gig in October 2016.

A four track CD, available via Band Camp or from the band themselves, was released in May 2017. This has been promoted by constant gigging along the North Wales coast.

The second EP "Red Sky" was released in early 2018

In September 2018 Keith Morris announced that he was leaving the band. White Ether continues as a four piece now with Steve, Rhys, John and Iolo. There are lots of new developments on the horizon and new material to take band on into 2019.
