Tilla Török (winner of Junior Prima Prize 2012) is a Hungarian folk singer, fiddler, and koboz player – a true multi-instrumentalist. Tilla’s childlike naturalness, paired with her youthful breeziness and soulful musical ideas, propagates the magical power of Hungarian folk music. During her years at the Academy of Music, she founded her band, which was meant to represent the varied permanence of folk music. Joined by her folk performer siblings Flóra Török and Ádám Török Dancsó and musician friends István Cseh, Dávid Mohai and Gábor Fánczi, they form a unique musical unity that interfuses Hungarian folk elements and the music of ancient steppe people.
