The Recoupes formed whilst in school together and started delivering blistering sets, not only in their native London/Essex but across the country playing venues such as the O2 Islington (supporting The Hoosiers), Camden Assembly and The Goodship before they were even legally allowed in the venues. With BBC Radio airplay already under their belt, the band worked with Gavin Monaghan and Joe Murray (Robert Plant, Ocean Colour Scene, JAWS, The Sherlocks) on their latest tracks ‘All I Know’ and 'Alright'.
After playing at various festivals that summer including a headline performance on the BBC Introducing stage at Brentwood Festival, the band went on to do other projects - putting out their final single three years after it was originally recorded.
