Glad Rags is the community thrift shop with so many purposes. Originally founded in 2004 as another means to generate funds for the Glad Foundation programmes, through its community focus it has become so much more.

Working on diverting pre-loved clothes from landfill (which is one of the biggest bads for climate change) we divert an average of 520kg per month: a total of 6 tons per year.

Our stock is 100% sourced from donations from our local community, and what we can’t sell in the shop we rag with the help of Nathan’s Wastesavers (https://www.nathanswastesavers.co.uk) or donate onwards to organisations or local artists that can use them.

Wed: 12-5pm Thur: 12-7pm
