Fergus McNeill
Fergus McNeill has developed an identifiably Scottish, contemporary folk-inspired sound, seasoned by a wide range of pop, indie country and blues influences.
Raised in Barrhead, Fergus’s route into song-writing came via his ‘other’ job--as a criminologist with a special interest in rehabilitation. He stumbled on the importance of song-writing as a way of sparking change, making connections and building communities, little expecting that the practice would be transformative for him. The impetus to share his songs with a wider audience came when Fergus’s song ‘Bloodrush’ was chosen from over 1300 entries as the winner of a national (UK) songwriting competition.
That success led to a memorable road-trip to record his first single at Abbey Road Studios. ‘Bloodrush’ was released in October 2021.Revered songwriter Boo Hewerdine, one of the competition’s judges, described ‘Bloodrush’ as: “a remarkable song that blew me away both musically and lyrically”. Fergus’s debut EP‘Johnny Blue’s Well’was recorded at Chem19 studios and released on 31 March 2024.
Rebeka
Rebeka is a talented Singer/songwriter from Wishaw, taking influences from Rhianna, H.E.R, Raye and Billie Eilish and blending it all into her own unique mix of Pop, R&B and Soul. Rebeka has performed at Glasgow Green and the Manchester Arena, working as a backing vocalist for Hue & Cry and worked with Texas for the Commonwealth games song. Rebeka is now finishing her Masters in Songwriting and is working towards her first album.
