Some of our lyrics are not yet published online; Here they are in the meantime:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Boom!” went the bittern
“Boom!” went the bittern, from the back of the marsh;
“Wet my lips” said the quail in the tall grass.
Yellowhammer sings from the top of the tree, “for a little bit of bread and no cheese!”.
“Teacher, teacher!” said the tits on the feeder;
“Pink!” said the finch from the table of seeds.
“Chiffchaff”: chiffchaff said its own name
And I wish they all did the same,
Like the cuckoo.
“Twit twoo” said the owl in the evening;
“Cock-a-doodle-doo” said the chicken in the morning.
Nightingale sings for the whole night through,
And you can hear them in the daytime too.
“I’m boring, I’m boring” (can you hear what the colour is calling?)
Then the swifts arrive from many miles away and they shout and they scream all day.
