Solomis (Travon Damar Parker) was born in Dallas, TX but grew up in Oklahoma City in the mid-80s and 90s in Oklahoma City. The hip hop music of their youth shaped his ideas about both style and subject matter, as influential artists like Bone Thugs N’ Harmony, Eminem, Nas and Outkast brought originality and honesty to the genre. Politics, the social issues they saw around him and events in his childhood also created plenty of lyrical fodder. He join his older brother Nawlege 405 to create the duo “832” which refers to the street number of the house the Parker Brothers grew up in which burned to the ground.
832 recorded their first EP, Synergy, in 2011 in Dallas where Solomis attended the University of Texas at Dallas. By the release of the duo’s first full-length album, Love and Fear in 2012, Nawlege 405 and Solomis had taken a conscious step away from the party rap which now dominates the hip hop landscape and towards honestly expressing their own inner struggle and their observations about the injustices in society and politics they see all around them. They won the 6th Annual Street Music Award for Best Duo or Group, and for their latest album they were able to recruit some well-known and like-minded artists to contribute to the brothers’ unique vision. The critically acclaimed album The RAP-Ture released in November 2014. Solomis is now a solo artist and is willing to prove that he can stand on his own by releasing EP "Reality Check" June 2016 with smash single "Vibe Out" which can be sold on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Tidal and all other digital stores. The success of the EP developed a solid fanbase to put him on tour all around the United States. His new album "OMW2U" is set to be released Summer 2018
