Getting attention is always difficult, but it's half of the fun for Skyway Avenue, a pop-rock band based in Bournemouth, England. With an album, Comic Book Crush, and two singles under their belt, one produced by Jim Wirt (Something Corporate, Elliot Minor) things are only looking up for this 4 piece.
"This album was entirely self funded and almost all self recorded - we put everything we had in the world into it", says Mike White, lead vocals/guitar. Having played the O2 Academy Bournemouth and the Southampton Joiners within the first 6 months of being a band shows the band have limitless ambition, always ready to take the next major step.
