A soulful female-led band pulling sounds from every corner of the record shop. Dreamy harmonies, waterfall-like wha guitar, soothing virtuosic keys, Indian infused bansuri flute, horns and a permanently stoney rhythm section.

Quintessentially feminine, Say She She tells women’s personal stories written by the band leaders Sabrina Cunningham and Piya Malik in both English and Hindi.  The band’s sound pays homage to the likes of Gloria Ann Taylor and some of the forgotten girl groups of the 60's with an injection of reggae beats, 90's RNB and Indian fusion hooks inspired by Bollywood sisters Lata Mankeshkar and Asha Boshle.

Following a magical debut show at Barbes NYC, blessed by a surprise appearance by Robert Plant, the band went on to play at the Ronnies Scott’s, London and a series of sold out shows at Brookyn hot spot C,mon Everybody. They recently recorded their debut EP both at Dap-King and former MD for Sharon Jones, Joey Crispiano’s analog studio and at Atomic Sounds in New York and will head out to cut the full-length record in Kingston, Jamaica early next year with legendary producer Rashad Ringo Smith AKA Tumbling Dice.
