SadMe is a Russian psychedelic indie-rock band from Moscow, formed in 2002 by singer and songwriter Masha Prokofieva - a contemporary artist, designer and a beginner film-maker. SadMe are well known in Russia for their loud and smashing energy live shows. During their career SadMe have released two studio albums and four EPs. The latest EP ‘Reign of me’ (2015) was recorded in London and produced by Martin Glover “Youth” (Killing Joke). The band collaborates with artists and directors, and in 2015 track ‘Holy’ was used as a soundtrack for Aleksey Petrukhin’s (‘Viy 3D’) film ‘Teacher’. SadMe continuously perform live and participate in the main Russian music festivals. Their tracks were played on Russian radio stations, the band performed live on TVRain and STS television channels.
