Reign Of Six's music is a journey into the world of instrumental rock music. Whether you're listening to songs that sound simple and commercial or sophisticated and less predictable, Reign Of Six has a distinct sound and originality that's evident. Characterised by singing guitar melodies and shifting moods and emotions, it is music that has a sonic fingerprint. Reign Of Six is a solo music project created by English guitarist and composer Tom Ross. Drawing influence from rock, metal and progressive music, Tom classes Reign Of Six’s music as instrumental art rock.
The writing process for Tom is a positive focus, a way of experiencing emotion and an escape from mental struggles and depression. Reign Of Six is a creative outlet and also a point of contact to a world he's been withdrawn from for many years.
The first album is an EP called Transient. The concept behind Transient comes from contemplating the meaning of life, death and trying to find purpose in life. It's a continuous piece of music consisting of five tracks which is meant to take you on a journey. It's not predictable, more in the progressive/art realm of music and may take the listener more time to get into.
Transient was released on the 5th of August 2022 and is available on all major streaming platforms.
