Naaman is one of the most exited polish band. They have been making the widely perceived Polish reggae for a few years (trends: roots, modern roots, dub, dancehall).
The first voice of the line-up – charismatic Nadia makes each gig not only an explosion of unforgettable emotions but also an exchange of cheerful energy and constant interaction with the audience.
Moreover, Naaman have such gigs to their credit as the greatest music festival in Poland: Woodstock Festival, Slot Art Festival, Ostróda Reggae Festival , Reggae na Piaskach.
Breakthrough in the career of Naaman was the year 2013 and the release of the second album titled „TAK!” (“YES!”) is not accidental. The band was one of the most significant participants of Must Be The Music and the opinions about them were most often “YES!”.
However, more positive circumstances made up “TAK!” (“YES!”). The record was made by Agima Dzejlijli, who is associated with the band called Oszibarack and with productions of mainly electronic sounds (it is enough to mention the latest records by Noviki). Therefore, the album “TAK!” (“YES!”) ranges from pop, funk, soul, the 80s, electro, dubstep to classic reggae.
Everything was supervised by Agima and emphasized by mastery of Tom Mayer from Master & Servant.
There is no more classic reggae than the one performed by Black Uhuru, one of the greatest bands in the history of this music. Here is another “TAK !” (“YES!”) – where the song “What’s That” is sung both by the vocalist Nadia and one of the vocalists from Black Uhuru – Michaela Rose’a. Such a guest on a record is perceived as something unique and worth consideration.
Finally, another, very significant “TAK !” (“YES!”) is the person of Nadia – the band’s vocalist. Her impetuous, stage personality, charisma and unique timbre will surely shake the music stage in the country – she has all necessary predispositions thereto. The first record gained such reviews: “A very good record, full of compositions which are pleasing to the ear, sensuous singing”, the second album “TAK!” (“YES”) is a result of the effort made on development of the unique sound and starting own artistic career.
