Linda is a songwriter and composer based in Greater Manchester who is currently collaborating with London based soprano Katerina Mina. They met at a science and arts festival in Tenerife called Starmus, where Katerina was performing in a tribute concert to Neil Armstrong.
Linda and Katerina are experimenting with classical cross over music based on Linda's love of science and nature.
The first track this 'Songwriter & Soprano' released was 'Rainbow Of Light', which was recorded at Airtight studio Manchester and became an official tune for UNESCO's International Year of Light in 2015. It was played in over 50 countries worldwide and Katerina performed the song in Florence, Bristol and Cyprus.
Katerina has been officially invited to perform Linda's new song 'Romance To The Stars by the Steering committee for UNESCO's International Day Of Light. The official inaugural flagship ceremony will be held at the UNESCO HQ in Paris on May 16th 2018.
Katerina will be bringing out an EP of Linda's songs "Nature's Universe' in May 2018, which will coincide with an album Katerina is releasing of opera aria's with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Linda also performs her own songs/poems in the folk/bluegrass genre on her guitar, mandolin/ukelele.
