Kingsley Chapman and The Murder are a band from the North East of England who combine lush pianos, trumpets and violins with crushing guitars and pounding drums to form what they describe as "cabaret death songs". Kingsley is the ex-frontman of angsty artrock band The Chapman Family.
Their debut single "Lovers" was released in summer 2015 on Too Pure and received airplay on BBC6music, XFM, and Amazing Radio as well as winning Steve Lamacq's Rebel Playlist.
You can follow the band on Facebook and Twitter, watch their videos at YouTube and listen to them at Soundcloud
