Jamie Bailey is a singer-songwriter and musician who taught himself to play a variety of instruments such as piano, guitar and percussion. Whilst studying at WAC Performing Arts College Jamie produced the winning track for the 2006 Rise Slam Poetry Award performed by Cashman aka Chris Preddie OBE.

Taking influences from the likes of India Arie, Eva Cassidy and Stevie Wonder Jamie’s distinctive soulful voice and unique tone make him stand out amongst other acoustic performers. Jamie Bailey has also played at some top venues such as The Cottons Club, Carling Academy, The Vortex, The Pigalle club and at The Purcell Rooms whilst working as bassist/backing vocalist for former Streets singer Kevin Mark Trail (EMI Records) on the live band circuit.

Jamie Bailey has also appeared twice on SBTV gaining accolades from channel creator Jamal Edwards. Jamie Bailey recently had his song “I Don’t Need You Anymore” played on BBC Radio London and is currently working with some well known and up and coming artist. With his latest track “Stand Up”, a collaboration with EDM producer Danny Darko set to be released in April as well as supporting Sam Bailey on her final tour date at the prestigious Hammersmith Apollo and recording his new E.P, 2015 is set to be a big year for Jamie Bailey.
