Jack The Rapper

Halifax-based emcee, producer, film maker & spoken word artist Jack The Rapper wields hilarious punchlines, multi’s and double-entendres around like nunchucks in order to paint the most colorful and satirical picture of his life’s hardships over his bedroom birthed compositions At 24, this young wordsmith brings beautifully constructed instrumentation, complex rhyming patterns and animated live enthusiasm to every stage.

• Debut EP "Costanza" was released in 2013
• First featured on BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire in early 2015 with “Name Down” & “Golden”
• Performed a live session/interview on BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire
• Named by Higher Rhythm, Help Musicians and BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire and Sheffield as “Breakthrough Artist 2015”
• Played Tramlines Festival summer in the summer of 2015
• Worked with BBC Radio 1Xtra as part of their Words First project, along with the Roundhouse London, ultimately performing a spoken word piece at Leeds Central Library which was filmed by the BBC
• “Name Down” named BBC Introducing Track of the Week on BBC Radio 1Xtra (Number 1 Hip-Hop station in the UK) in October 2015. Was added to the playlist and aired nationally every day that week
