Alt-rock trio from London. Dark hued yet melodious, cinematic yet hook laden. Sometimes noisy, sometimes less so, Hurtling take inspiration from bands like, and including, The Breeders, Sebadoh and Warpaint but make a sound that is all their own.
Although a relatively new band, all three members have a lot of musical experience. Lead singer/guitarist Jen Macro has played live with a number of respected artists including My Bloody Valentine, Charlotte Hatherley and Graham Coxon. Drummer Jon Clayton has run OneCat Studio in Brixton for over 10 years and has worked with artists including Jim Bob (Carter USM), The Monochrome Set and Chris T-T. Simon Kobayashi (Bass) is founding member of Smallgang (Damnably records) and has lent his musical talents to Shonen Knife, Crumbling Ghost, Kath Bloom and is currently working with Jon Fine (Bitch Magnet).
Last year they released 'Feel It' as a double A side 7" single with good friends Creepy Neighbour on Brixton Hill Studios label 'Brixton Hillbilly' and are currently finishing up an album due for release in August 2018 on Onomatopoeia Records (Barringtone/Bill Drake).
