Matching witty, tongue-in-cheek lyrics to jagged guitars, GRAVVES are noise merchants bar none.
They occupy a space where punk fury, alt-rock hugeness and truly infectious songs coexist. Blasts of vicious feedback live alongside a swagger laden with naggingly catchy hooks.
Emerging from North Wales, the band released their first two Eps "Rattle" and "Oh The Joy" through Liverpool based Loner Noise Records. Both received widespread airplay by the likes of BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio Wales, Amazing Radio and Kerrang! Radio. The release made waves online, described as “a bratty, scuzzy brand of balls-out grunge rock, bursting with snarling punk attitude.”
Their live performances quickly gained a reputation as perfect moshpit fuel, pulling crowds and turning heads at the likes of Y Not Festival, Focus Wales and Wrong Festival.
Following the momentum, the band are set to release double A side single “Steady As She Goes (And Dies) / Jaws” in April. Loud, infectious and downright cataclysmic, the single showcases a band taking aim at bigger things.
Described by Kerrang! Radio presenter Alex Baker as "a cacophony of brilliant noise." The band are supporting the single with a run of shows from April to June.
