ERICA, the dynamic three-piece band, is formed by vocalist and guitarist Dalton Woodward and drummer Will Hall since 2011 and have been joined by new bassist Mike Long . The band, originating from Winchcombe in Gloucestershire, has gained popularity with their alternative rock influenced riff’s, impressive vocals and an undeniably individual sound.
Through their love of home-town shows, they have developed a strong local fan base, playing often in local pubs and festivals and enjoyed success twice in national battle of the band's competitions, Erica has been streamed live to over 2 million viewers on Italian television station RAI in April 2017 and opened V Fest in Chelmsford in 2015.
Their debut album ‘Sons of the High Land,’ released in 2014 and was credited with 4/5 stars by Kerrang. Their second album Hollow Moon was released in August 2016 to critical acclaim.
ERICA are regularly played on radio stations in the United Kingdom and worldwide plus been interviewed and had tracks broadcast on BBC Introducing and can now boast over 1 million downloads on Spotify.
The band released their fourth single Runaway alongside their third album Whitehorse on 9 August 2019 at Lakefest.
Before lockdown ERICA teamed up with Emmerdale actor James Moore on their track Not Alone. The bands new single Revive is due for release in December 2022.
The band has played many festivals including Ryderfest, Tadstock, RovinFest, Off The Tracks, Bath Festival and Livestock. In June 2019 the band travelled to Annecy after being selected by the Twining Association to represent Cheltenham at Fête de la Musique. They regularly play the main stage at Lakefest and Sunshine Festival where they have become firm favourites, in addition to this, they can add playing both North and South Carfest events twice, an event organised by Chris Evans.
