Tucked away up in North Wales, a remarkable lyricist and self-taught producer blended soulful dream pop with homemade hip-hop to create a unique soundscape. He achieved this in his parent’s attic, culturally mining his fervent imagination and hand-me-down records to craft multilayered songs that invite us to view life through his DIY kaleidoscope.
“I can’t think of anyone that sounds like Ennio the Little Brother. What an achievement; to create music in 2019 that you can say has an original air to it. It’s something else. A real singular vision.” - Adam Walton (BBC Radio Wales)
Ennio has received radio play on Cerys Matthew’s Sunday Morning BBC Radio 6 show, Tom Robinson’s Introducing playlist, and featured as Bethan Elfyn’s ‘Introducing Artist of the Week’.
He approaches live performance with joyous ingenuity delivering an entirely new vibe to his studio incarnations by stripping back the many layers of instrumentation to his soft guitar tones and evocative poetry. 2018 saw Ennio step up his volume of gigging, learning intricate ways to master his sound on every outing. A notable performance was at the beautiful St. Mary’s Church in Chester; in a typical beguiling performance, his soft-jazz guitar loops and evocative vocals reverberated around the spectacular stone building to a captive audience.
In February 2019, Ennio will be embarking on a UK tour for his forthcoming release with Mai 68 Records - ‘Moon Friend’.
