Dan Wilson is a singer/songwriter based in Liverpool with his band The Counterfactuals and the lead singer of Liverpool band The Cubical.

His debut album “All Love is Blind” was released in 2015 and the title track was singled out as one of the iTunes “hot tracks” for a number of weeks. The album received great reviews internationally and he played European festivals and shows alongside Bob Dylan, Mark Lanegan and Jim Jones, to name a few.

Dan Wilson and The Counterfactuals’ sophomore album “Victims” is due out in January 2019. You can preview the album on SoundCloud. A prolific composer, Dan has written music for the short film “Swimming Man” (2012) and the play “Tony Teardrop” at St Lukes Church, Liverpool (2013), and is often seen collaborating with various musicians on eclectic projects. His band, The Counterfactuals, has a suitably battle hardened line-up: Rense Slings (Automatic Sam) Simon James (The Cubical, Wizards of Twiddly, Kevin Ayers, Gorki’s, Super Furry Animals) Andy Frizell (Wizards of Twiddly, Muffin Men, Kevin Ayers, Gorkis, Super Furry Animals) and Siofra Ward (Liverpool Mozart Orchestra) and Simon Montague.
