The Latvian indie trio Carnival Youth is one of the most successful new generation bands from the Baltic region, as proved by The European Border Breakers Award they received at Eurosonic 2016. Carnival Youth fuse neat melodic lines with the energy of alternative and indie music, while their emotion range varies from youthful melancholia to pure joy.

Since the formation of the band in 2012, Carnival Youth have released four records – “Never Have Enough” EP, “No Clouds Allowed”, "Propeller" and "Vienā vilcienā" (album with songs in Latvian). These records and their dynamic live performances have granted Carnival Youth a growing fan base all over Europe and critical acclaim. And on 16th of August 2019 Carnival Youth will release their new album “Good Luck” which is mixed by Nicolas Vernhes (worked with Deerhunter, War On Drugs, Dirty Projectors, etc.) and mastered by Greg Calbi (worked with MGMT, Arcade Fire, Bob Dylan, etc.)

Tours : Carnival Youth have played in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Estonia, Lithuania and their local region several times.

Festivals and showcases: Carnival Youth have played many festivals and showcases, such as SXSW (USA), Mondo. NYC (USA), M for Montreal (Canada), The Great Escape (UK), Sziget (Hungary), Positivus (Latvia), Open’er Festival (Poland), Reeperbahn (Germany), Eurosonic (The Netherlands) and others.
