The Zoo City Lads, a rock n roll band from Sydney, have quickly gained a reputation as a solid live band after tearing their way across Sydney venues in support of their debut EP released in late 2013. The lead single "Throw it Away" saw praise from blogs and radio around the country for the song and its impressive video and signalled the bands arrival onto the rock scene.
The follow up singles "Sad Songs" and the soon to be released "Nature vs Nurture" are garage rock at its finest. Short, sharp and catchy songs that are made to be played loud and are destined to be favourites at their upcoming live shows.
"Sad Songs" and "Nature vs Nurture" were recorded at The Brain studios in Sydney, mixed by Jordan Power and mastered by Steve Smart at 301 Studios. They will again be hitting the road in 2016 before they bunker down in the studio again to put the finishing touches on their debut album.
