Huxtable are a 2 piece Riff Rock band hailing from Kilmarnock. The duo formed in early 2014 and have managed to perform over 30 gigs in 10 months as well as release a debut mini album entitled We Are Huxtable. With their razor sharp riffs and hard hitting beats, Huxtable, have been making waves in the local scene already building up an impressive following. The pair have performed alongside Fatherson at their homecoming show to over 900 people, as well as 2 shows at The Hard Rock Cafe, Glasgow, twice. And more recently the band supported Biffy Clyro at a sold out show at Troxy, London to over 2500 gig goers.
Since supporting Biffy Clyro in November the band have taken to the studio once again and recorded a brand new EP. In January the band returned to Soundshape productions and left with such a growth of a record. Entitled 'It's A Trap' the record was released digitally on 20/02/2015 and so far has had a great response. The lead single from the EP 'Little Darling' was named as XFM Scotland's Break Out Track on 19/02/2015 and has already had multiple plays on XFM, Amazing Radio as well as Irvine Beat FM. The band's first Glasgow headline show on 28/02 was incredible. Footage of the event is to be published at a later date. They used this show as a celebration of the past year and the years to come. The duo have recently returned from their first self booked UK Tour which went down a treat at every venue. Huxtable have been selected to showcase at this years XpoNorth (previously GoNorth) Festival. They have also been confirmed to support GUN in Troon at this years Live @Troon Festival on the main stage. The band are taking themselves back to the studio to record demos and will be touring again in November.
