Our current opening hours are Sun-Thurs. 6pm-11pm; Fri & Sat 6pm-1am (as of 1 Jan 2023)
The nearest tube station is Brixton on the Victoria line, turn left out of the station, follow the walking or bus instructions below.
In the event that the Victoria tube line to Brixton is closed for engineering works, you can take the tube to Oval on the Northern Line and get on one of the following buses which will bring you all the way to Blenheim Gardens – 59, 133, 159 or 333. Alternatively, if you get off the Northern Line at Kennington, you can get the 133 or 333 bus all the way to Blenheim Gardens.
Stockwell on the Northern Line is nearer, but does not have direct bus links to Blenheim Gardens.
There are also regular overland trains from London Victoria to Brixton, from where you can walk or get a bus, as below.
It’s about 10 minutes walk from the tube, walk up Brixton Hill (the one with Lambeth Town Hall and the Fridge at the bottom of it) and turn right into Blenheim Gardens at the top of the row of shops with the Co-op Funeral Services and a traffic light at the end of the street.
We have cycle posts out the front of the venue for you to lock your bike to.
There is limited street parking around the venue, though after 18:30 weekdays and all day at weekends parking is available all along Blenheim gardens apart from a few bits of double yellow lines. If you are visiting outside of those times, the nearest Pay and Display parking is on Halliwell Avenue. Blue badge holders can also make use of resident parking provision at all times.
The car park behind the pub is private property and NOT part of the pub. If you park in you will get fined.
Taxis can drop off direct outside the venue.
If you don’t fancy the exercise there’s lots of buses that run up the hill (mostly from the bus stop at the top of the row of bus stops as you turn left out of the tube station outside KFC. Blenheim Gardens is the 3rd stop from Brixton and the following buses will transport you in approx 2-3 mins: 45, 59, 109, 118, 159, 250 and 333.
The 109 and 250 stop at the bottom of Blenheim Gardens, just past Southwest Tyres and directly outside the NISA minimart.
