Uwmami is an independent DIY artist, producer and audio engineer from Dublin, Ireland. The artist released her first EP in July 2018, and has subsequently dropped another EP, a mixtape and numerous singles, with more collaborative and solo efforts scheduled for release throughout 2020. The producer's recent creative endeavours have been focused in the realm of collaboration, working with rising artists Omo Aston, Bonnie Spencer, Eiffe, 6iixpaths, Awesimon, Chahyld, Aaron Everything and RTL.Bluuwoods amongst others. Her work has been featured in both Irish and international publications, including Earmilk, Rhyme Junkie, Nialler9, District and Golden Plec. She has received airplay from 98fm, RTE Pulse, The Irish Jam and Spotify editorial playlists. Uwmami has performed at the Button Factory and the Workman's Club in in recent months.
Her debut extended play, 'Summer Syrup' was released in July of 2018, introducing Uwmami's signature melding of rich guitar tones and experimental synth lines to hip-hop drums. In early 2019, the producer released a number of singles and a second EP, 'N.U.N.D', which signified a progression into more ambient elements of production. Over the summer of 2019, Uwmami produced a series of weekly collaborations, featuring some of the most unique and exciting voices in Irish music.
