WELCOME TO 1000 LIGHTS - Get Musicians Partisipant tickets
We want you to join our epic band!
Prepare for an unforgettable night with 1000 Lights, where 1000 musicians perform alongside rock legends at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham.
This event is named in honour of Linkin Park’s ‘One More Light’ tour, which marked Chester Bennington’s final performance before his tragic passing.
This historic fundraising event benefits the UPRAWR Mental Health
Foundation (Registered Charity Number 1178183), uniting 1000 musicians and a packed out audience with a common goal - fundraising to provide free mental health counselling for the alternative community.

What’s Happening?
1000 musicians, supported by 20 prominent musicians, will perform two
Linkin Park songs - 995 musicians will perform together in the performers
area (see how the Arena will be laid out for the event here), with the top five fundraisers (one from each instrument category - more about that below) joining established prominent artists from the Alt and Rock music world on the main stage.
How Can I Be One of the 1000?
We have 5 categories of players (16+ only):
So if you can play guitar, bass, drums, keys, or sing... We want you!
How it works:
I Don’t Sing or Play An Instrument - Can I Be In The Audience?
An historic gig is not complete without a phenomenal audience, right?
If you’re not a musician, you can support us as an audience member!
A limited number of general tickets are on sale - so join us in making this the most memorable night the ALT scene has seen in Birmingham ever!
Why Is This Happening?
We believe life should be enjoyed.
This event is organised by the UPRAWR Mental Health
Foundation to raise money for free mental health counselling and services for the Alternative community.
After Chester Bennington's tragic passing in 2017, we realised the urgency of supporting our Alt and Rock music community.
We noticed the increasing prominence of mental health issues within our
community and felt the need to offer help and support. That's why, as one of the leading rock and alternative music venues and rehearsal studios in the UK, we decided to take action, and so the UPRAWR Mental Health
Foundation was created.
At the UPRAWR Mental Health
Foundation we offer 100% FREE
mental health support and counselling to people aged 18-35 who relate to
the rock and alternative music scene. We strive to provide counselling in a
welcoming, safe, non-judgmental, and non-clinical environment, using
custom-built counselling rooms in music studios and venues to create
relaxing and homely spaces. Our fundraising allows us to employ level 5
qualified counsellors to provide counselling in one-to-one, group therapy,
and seminar settings.
Our mission is to improve the mental health and emotional resilience of rock and alternative music lovers. Our founders, sponsors,
ambassadors, fundraisers, and everyone involved are committed to this mission.
We come together with a shared vision to support our community and
reignite a passion for living life out loud. Rather than running a 10k or holding a bake sale, we aim to grow our charity through music-led events related to rock, pop punk, metal, emo, and alternative music.
1000 Lights is our first major fundraiser in this plan, with many more to
follow.

Do You Need Support With Your Mental Health?
Our mental health services are free and confidential, and our counsellors can support you in many ways including:
* talking through any problems you are having
* offering advice about dealing with difficult feelings or experiences
* helping you explore how you feel about different issues that come up in your life
* helping you explore your values and beliefs.
All our services are offered for the Alt community, by the Alt community, therefore our counsellors have been specifically chosen to be relatable, discrete and non-judgmental.
We run sessions online and from our fully equipped Birmingham studio.
