Tim Brooks is a singer songwriter, but so much more than your run of the mill, cookie cutter guy with an acoustic guitar.
Taking equal influence from his favourite singer songwriters (Frank Turner, Brian Fallon, Jason Isbell), and from the angsty rock music of his youth, Tim Brooks combines stellar wordplay with a voice that is equal part rasp, croon and wail (think Chris Cornell meets Bruce Springsteen).
Having extensively gigged around London, playing venues such as the London Improv Theatre, 93 Feet East, The Troubadour and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz club, as well as sets around the UK in cities such as Leeds, Bristol and Norwich, 2018 saw Tim Brooks release his second full length EP Till Midnight, as well as the single Trouble Will Find Me.
The latter part of the year has seen him play at the O2 arena as part of Stone Free festival (headlined by Scorpions and Yes) support Will Varley (Xtra Mile) in Poznan, appear on Balcony TV, and play his first international shows.
2019 will see Tim Brooks release 5 singles, as well as embark on a first UK and Poland tour, and perform internationally at places such as Brussels, Cork, Brugges, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Ljublijana and Riga
