The Kimberleys on Mike Norris' Classic Folk
It's early days for The Kimberleys and currently we are concentrating on the last stages of finishing the album, however on a jolly night off recently we ventured down to the Tuesday folk club at Cecil Sharp House. It was a smashing night filled with a mix of regular singers and visitors from afar, we met some good folk, one of which was Mike Norris. Mike runs a weekly show that is on The Wireless and promoted by EFDSS, he played "Elsie Marley" on January 1st and said some heartening stuff; "A completely fresh approach to an old song and I absolutely love it!"
