Independent Venue Week - Gig Review - 1st Feb 2018 at The Lab in Northampton
It was great to be part of Independent Venue week at the beginning of February supporting The Wholls at the Lab in Northampton, check out the gig review from Pulse-Alternative magazine.
Opening their set with 'Take Me On a Trip' THE KEEPERS are creating quite a stir with a unique sound I can only describe as psychedelia performed with punk attitude and delivered with indie precision. It's a good spirited, energetic performance that initiates some rabid audience participation. Fine tunesmiths the band already have an enviable back catalogue but latest single 'Another Night' is a set highlight along with 'Leaving Home'. It's a rare and wonderful thing to witness that special connection between band and crowd and it's rewarded with a turbo-charged encore of The Beatles classic 'Paperback Writer'.
