Move On
This song is one of the earliest compositions of the group – Martin and Gon started to write together in the neighborhood of San Telmo in Buenos Aires, before The Otherness got together as a band.
The music of the track is a modern rock take on a dance-pop sound –with a pulsating beat that is perfect for the catchy and memorable vocal melodies. The guitar riff sets the mood for a summer drive with the windows down and the spirits high.
The lyrics are direct and address the different layers of meaning behind the expression of the song title: let’s leave the place where we are staying and go somewhere else, let’s start something original, let’s accept that a situation has changed and let’s be ready to deal with new experiences.
“Move On” was always a fan favourite in the grassroots’ circuits of live music in the UK, and now the band is reciprocating the love with a new take on it that’s full of joy and sheer optimism.
