Looking forward to Spring
Hope you’re all well into the New Year, resolutions abandoned, and looking forward to Spring. Two large boxes of our new CD ‘Migrant Tales’ arrived yesterday and we’re excited to get them out in the world! Release date will be announced soon. In the meantime we’ll be sending out, via PR company Scream Promotions, to radio stations and magazines, and hoping for some favourable reviews! Simon toured the country with Young Voices, as he does this time every year, playing large venues like Sheffield Arena, and winding up at the O2 London next week. Meanwhile I’ve been hustling for gigs, working on new songs, listening to new, and old, music, mostly Dylan after reading the book Simon bought for my birthday: Why Dylan Matters by Richard F Thomas, a study which explores the links between Dylan and the classical poets, Homer, Ovid and Virgil. A fascinating read for all Bob fans. Went to see our good mate Jack Henderson at the Green Note in Camden Town a few Sundays ago.
