Glasgow Spectrum Music
Starting life in the early days of The Glad Foundation, and now run by our long-time project partner, Hear My Music, in their own HQ at Cathcart Trinity Church , Glasgow Spectrum Music provides individual and small group music-making for young people aged 6-18 who have autism. The Glad Foundation is delighted to contribute funds to the ongoing delivery of this brilliant project!
The classes involve a mixture of structured music-making through rhythm games and songs, and a chance for each child to develop their creative abilities. Each young person is given a chance to both develop improvisation and composition skills, and learn to play instruments.
