EFG London Jazz Festival: Molly Green
Molly Green
Entry Requirements: Under 16s are not permitted in the venue. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
As a 2020 graduate of Music at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Bristol born Molly Green is establishing herself as a highly anticipated jazz and soul musician.
Born to the sound of jazz greats, old and new, such as Ella Fitzgerald and Norah Jones, and nourished by the soulful music of B.B.King through to Joss Stone, Green's sound is like a shimmering deja vu; there's a comforting familiarity in something completely new.
Performing from a young age, Molly has appeared at numerous live music events, including Glastonbury Music Festival, Boomtown Festival, Liverpool Sound City, and the well established Bristol Beacon (formerly known as Colston Hall). She has also sold out two headline shows at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool, and completed a sold out debut UK tour in November 2021.
Her single Square One, secured her a place supporting Joy Crookes and a spot on BBC Introducing’s Hot List, with following releases seeing her surpass a total of 200 thousand streams on Spotify and gaining her play on BBC Radio One.
Her ability to further realise her creative vision, by designing and creating her own clothes, ensures you have never seen anything like her before.
