Tomasz Zyrmont and Ben Hazleton recently performed together at the 606 Club with Tomasz's Interphase Quartet.
At the Bulls Head they will present the same material in an intimate duet format, performing famous jazz standards along with Tomasz’s original compositions, bringing a fresh and dynamic approach to the stage.

Tomasz Zyrmont
Tomasz Zyrmont is a renowned pianist, composer, and educator based in London. He is a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland, and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Tomasz has performed at prestigious events such as the London Jazz Festival, Yamaha Music Live, Wigmore Lates, and the Jazz FM Discovery Show. He has played in venues like Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, the 606 Club, Boisdale, Canary Wharf, and the British Parliament.
In the past, Tomasz led Groove Razors, an electric jazz fusion group that released two albums featuring his original compositions. He also founded the Tomasz Zyrmont Trio, which has performed at notable festivals like Polish Music Week and venues such as the Embassy of the Republic of Poland. In 2022, he launched the Interphase Quartet in collaboration with saxophonist Sean Khan, blending contemporary and traditional jazz. Tomasz’s versatility is evident in his Yamaha Silent Piano concerts, pre-concert performances for artists like Hiromi, and his role curating jazz jam sessions at POSK.
Ben Hazleton
Ben Hazleton has been performing professionally in the UK and internationally for over 25 years. Based in London since 1995, he has become a sought-after double bass player, regularly appearing at iconic venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The 606 Club, The Jazz Café, and Pizza Express Dean Street. His career spans festivals, private events, and prestigious stages across Europe.
Recent highlights include performing on bass guitar with UK hip-hop artist Roots Manuva and collaborating with tabla maestro Talvin Singh at the Royal Festival Hall and The Rich Mix. Ben also holds a longstanding role as the double bass player for Alan Weekes' Sunday Night Residency at Uncle Sam’s (The Haggerston). Guest musicians have included Wynton Marsalis and Esperanza Spalding.
In addition to jazz, Ben performs devotional music with Jahnavi Harrison and Qi-Rattan, and is a founding member of Uniting of Opposites, blending Eastern and Western musical traditions. The group’s debut album, Ancient Lights, was released in 2018 through Tru Thoughts Records, with performances at the Purcell Room (Southbank Centre) and The Jazz Café.
