The Tallinn based Tenfold Rabbit found themselves on a journey down the rabbit hole towards fame after releasing their debut single “Oblivion” which turned out to be also their breakthrough hit. Formed in 2011 as the progeny of an elementary school punk band “Meelik” (named after the groups bass player Meelik Samel) the four guys started experimenting with folk, rock and MOR. Their debut album “Travel the World” was released in 2012 winning the title of Indie/Alternative album of the Year. As real life kicked in after high school two of the members (Martin Petermann, Rain Parve) from the original composition left the band which brought both new blood (first guitarist Jaan Jaago, later and at the moment Matteus Elbrecht and drummer Oliver Rõõmus) and new sound to the group. What used to be a folk-rock band is now a group producing electro-indie music influenced by the love for soul, hiphop, dubstep, drum´n´bass, alt-rock, indie and bassmusic. The recognizible timbre of the vocalist Andres Kõpper has been compared with Woodkid and Jim Morrison. Their second album “Fools” was released in late November 2014 presenting the new sound and more mature and self-aware attitude. Tenfold Rabbit faced their first foreign concerts directly after releasing “Travel the World” and continues to conquer new territories with continuity.
