Formed in November 2013, Sugarman Sam and the Voodoo Menn combine classic elements of blues and combine them with the raucous power of rock.
Sugarman Sam is a bluesman through-and-through; being brought up on a diet of high-profile names like BB King, Led Zeppelin and Gary Moore to name a few, as well as taking influences from contemporary acts such as Matt Schofield, Joe Bonamassa and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
Backed by the outfit known as The Voodoo Men, a trio of musicians who create the perfect backdrop for Sam's guitar pyrotechnics. They are tightly together like the bedrock of any good blues/rock band, yet still manage to create a loose and live feeling when on stage.
Live is where the band shine. Their current EP, 'Some Kind of Voodoo', showcases three powerful original songs that provide a glimpse into what is to come from an evening with Sugarman Sam and the Voodoo Men.
You need to see this band to hear the sounds. To feel the true power of this quartet.
We'll see you on the road...
