Festival Season
A quick update from us and everything in the world of Bloodhound. We've been pretty busy tucked away recording some new music. We're about halfway there with the tracks and are hoping to finish them before the summer is over. We're doing some other recording with some good friends of ours in Leeds during July as well which will hopefully equate to something coming out during the summer.
Aside from this we'll be playing a few more festivals than last year including opening the newly renamed Spiders From Mars Big Top on Saturday 4th August at Humber Street Sesh on Hull Marina and playing at Tiger Works for the Tramlines Fringe in Sheffield this coming Saturday 21st July. Our final festival date will be Hull's Ulltra Festival on Saturday 20th October with the likes of Polevaulter, Beach Riot and Bloody Knives. We'll hopefully be doing a few more shows out and about around the UK before the end of the year as well before we knuckle down and finish these songs.
During July we had a great show playing with The Black Delta Movement and The Piper at The New Adelphi Club in Hull to raise money for The Black Delta Movement to cover the fines that they received on tour in Europe. The three of us have also all recently graduated with First Class Honours degrees in Music. Will and I received ours for Popular Music and Bex for Jazz and Popular Music. We are now focussing on what the future holds for us as a band but rest assured we won't be going anywhere.
We've got some really cool things coming up in the future and we hope that you look forward to them as much as we do. For the time being, have a sick summer and come catch us at one of our festival dates.
