I finally had a chance to listen to your first musical child on the treadmill at the gym this morning and I nearly dropped my pie! It is sensational and worth the wait!
This will go in my "forever" music folder alongside my Bowie, T Rex, Magazine and Deaf School's Second Honeymoon album!
The lyrics are as sharp as a Briss knife (used in circumcision..oi you goyim I would say if I were Jewish).
The band is as tight as Ken Dodds floorboards (cutting edge humour!.its where he hid his money from the taxman). Other very rude comparisons are available!
It contains more surprise than a Kinder Egg (other gift containing capsules are available).
The production is as full as the billowing sails of a Spanish galleon or my belly at an all you can eat buffet (always room left for a waffer thin mint!)
The quality is as lingering as a Trump/fart in an elevator (for the American market!).
The vocals are terrific. Jim and Steve don't need a bucket to carry a tune!
Anthropologists will have to invent a new category of people..those who own this album and those who don't! People who don't will be the kind who miss when they throw themselves on the ground!
Mark Twain said that comparison is the death of joy so I won't compare Dumb Animals to anything else. I will just revel in its joy!
