Up and coming musician Sansha is a music graduate based in South-East London. A singer-songwriter at heart, she has written over 50 songs and self-produces them into electronic tracks in her bedroom studio.
Live, Sansha has been described as a 'Victoria Wood meets Lilly Allen' hybrid who on the synthesiser, launchpad and trumpet delivers her unique original songs with a charismatic ease. She has also worked up a comedic routine alongside her songs, which originally came from a love for storytelling, and has written a one-woman show which she has performed at the Edinburgh fringe two times running.
Francesca lewis, the creator behind the moniker, was classically trained on the violin and trumpet as a child but now takes songwriting and production inspiration from a mixture of 80s bands and modern DJs like Denis Sulta and DJ Koze. Her crafty song-writing and bell-like voice have got her tracks aired on the radio numerous times, including Track of the week, performances live on air and numerous interviews on BBC three counties radio, spins on BBC radio 6, Amazing radio, and two airplays on BBC radio one.
Having performed at events and venues such as the Montreux jazz festival, Ronnie Scott's Upstairs, Latitude festival, Omeara, and Sofar Sounds sessions In 10 different cities around Europe, Sansha is comfortable on stage and loves engaging with the audience.
