Jase Old announces debut solo album 'Hemisphere' out 18 April
Jase Old has spent most of the past decade as the energetic front man of internationally renowned Australian melodic rockers The Radio Sun. Releasing 5 albums in as many years, with return performances at festivals in the USA, UK, Japan and Sweden, others might be yearning for a rest in between some downtime. But not Jase, who is about to set out on a journey of a different kind, with the release of his debut solo album Hemisphere.
This is an album that will still be familiar sounding to those who know him from The Radio Sun and StarChase. However, in place of a hard rock crunch and melodic catchiness, you’ll find tracks that deliver emotive power with strings of a different kind, a hint of synth and some driving acoustic arrangements. Tracks that are at times hauntingly fragile and painfully honest, but instantly relatable and wrapped in an overall message of positivity.
Exploring creative freedom, without any preconceived notion about what style or genre a song needed to fit into, Hemisphere sees Jase expanding the breadth of his talents as a solo performer, songwriter, multiinstrumentalist and producer and a chance to explore his vast musical influences.
Set for a 18th April 2020 release, Hemisphere will be available on all major streaming platforms.
