Despite its short life span, Quiet Arch has already entrenched itself as the leading force in Northern Irish music. Having released over 10 critically acclaimed albums and achieving over 105 million Spotify streams since its inception. Pioneered by industry veteran Lyndon Stephens, Quiet Arch has consistently broken the mould of Northern Irish music, pushing the best music in the country to international acclaim.
Founded by Lyndon Stephens with a small roster of acts in 2014, the Quiet Arch family has grown quite a bit, recently hiring Francesca O’Connor as head of the label, Ben Magee as part of the management company and Sinead Green in accounting as well as partnering with Believe for international distribution. Quiet Arch currently has six albums in production - 2019 will see album releases from Malojian, Beauty Sleep, Ryan Vail and Joshua Burnside.
Lyndon’s vision was to create a label that worked with the best emerging Northern Irish artists and he evidently keeps picking the winning horse - Quiet Arch albums have won the NI Music Prize 2 years in a row (Joshua Burnside with EPHRATA in 2017 and Ciaran Lavery with Let Bad In, 2016). Ten Quiet Arch albums in total have achieved the shortlist, with three coming as recently as 2018 (Ciaran Lavery with Sweet Decay, Malojian with Let Your Weirdness Carry You Home and Ryan Vail with Distorted Shadows).
Quiet Arch releases have garnered support from tastemakers across the globe including Spotify, BBC 6Music and BBC Radio One and on the management side Quiet Arch has seen their artists regularly perform internationally, including showcases at the likes of SXSW and The Great Escape.
Quiet Arch currently looks after Joshua Burnside, Ryan Vail, Beauty Sleep and Pat Dam Smyth
