2017 upon reflection.....
2017 was in fact one of thee best years of my life for a few reasons which I’m sure you’ll comprehend if you manage finish reading this rather lengthy post. Here are some highlights:
I performed 127 gigs. Many more than before in a single year.
I got my face in the papers with my pal/drummer Merlyn a few times for some of the gigs we did.
I was interviewed on the radio for Suffolk Day with my pals Max and Serena, in Orford thanks to BBC Suffolk and Ian from the Kings Head Orford.
I even managed to get my face on the 'big screen' and singing, after being interviewed by John McCarthy for the film Life on the Deben about being a musician living on the river, and the film being shown in all the local cinemas (Another first). Go see it!
5.Finally finished converting my T5 van into another wicked camper (Blue Bus Tour 2?)
I met the love of my life.
….I’m going to be a dad :')
I really really have to say thank you with all my heart to everyone who booked me and rebooked me in 2017. To everyone who has come to see me play and all the love a support from my friends, family, you lot, and of course my darling Alex. We’re out in said camper around France for a few months but back to UK in the Spring.
