Italian-born Nazareno Ferruggio is a classical concert pianist living and working mostly in Munich and Milan, but with a love of travel and a growing international fan-base that takes him performing all over the world. A former child prodigy, he played his first major concert, at the age of 17, with Orchestra Sinfonica of Bari (Puglia), and has since then toured extensively in Asia, the Americas, Europe and Australasia, including such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall (New York), the Wiener Saal (Salzburg) and the Teatro Municipal (Lima). On the way, he has amassed accolades, and won prizes, at international piano competitions, including the IBLA Grand Prize and Edvard Grieg International Piano Competition, as well as reaching the finals of the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. He holds the title of "Visiting Professor" at the University of Suwon in South Korea and the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, and is currently teaching at the Conservatorio G. Puccini Gallarate (Milan).
