'Blood Money (Slow Thief)' is taken from 'Alien Blood', an additional album included in the deluxe limited edition box sets released on November 1st as part of the 40th anniversary reissue of The Pop Group's debut album 'Y'
Mark Stewart on John Cage's '4.33' for a Vice feature in the wake of the release of the Mute compilation STUMM433, which features renowned Mute affiliates covering the famous piece.

'The Pop Group‘s debut album, Y, is one of the definitive post-punk artifacts. For its 40th anniversary, Mute Records is reissuing Y in a deluxe edition. The vinyl has been half-speed mastered at Abbey Road & comes with a bonus 12″ of “She is Beyond Good and Evil.” There’s also a box set version that includes Alien Blood (which features rare and unreleased tracks) and Y Live.
The opening cut of Alien Blood is “Kiss the Book,” a tense, taught track that had previously only been heard via a 1978 Peel Session. This studio version was excavated from the original 2” tapes and The Pop Group have made a video for it as well, made by artist and filmmaker Daniel Kramer aka The Visceral Glitch'
