Glasgow's post punk, dream pop, jazz and R&B flecked LYLO are here to dazzle you with their emotionally charged, blue eyed soul. LYLO's seductive yet melancholic vocals weave around woozy synths and saxophone, tingling guitars, smooth, pulsating bass and a hot flurry of drum fills and tight as syncopated rhythms.

Coming from Glasgow's DIY scene and crossing over musical genres has marked LYLO as one of Glasgow's more distinct and appealing live bands. Their dazzling live shows draw you closer to their world - their vibrant stage presence (for early 20 somethings) and sum of the parts sound highlights the bands individual style. LYLO have the sparkle that hints at the Postcard era: New Sound of Scotland.

In 2015 LYLO recorded, produced and released their debut album 'Handsome Living', a mature debut, delicately conceived of Cocteau Twins and Style Council moments which silently set out LYLO's sound. The three piece centered around Drummer Justin Allan, Singer/Guitarist Mitch Flynn and Bassist Jack Seaton, with Saxophonist Iain McCall in close proximity spent 2016 writing and demoing new tracks for their follow up 'Post Era'.

The first offering from 'Post Era' is forthcoming single 'You Have Your Father's Eyes' which was again recorded and mixed by Lylo and mastered in NYC by Josh Bonati (Iceage, Wild Nothing etc). The track hones a post punk sensibility having a fling with the pop charts. It's a groove full of synth and sample pad flourishes, fluttering ethereal sax, stabbing guitar lines and their signature dreamy vocals.

The download single is backed with the delicate sway of 'Submerge', which displays LYLO's subtly arresting mix of soul and jazz and the bands patience with space and time. Both songs have unique accompanying videos which visualise LYLO's sound to a tee. The must see video were made by German born Maurice and LYLOs own Iain McCall, both recent graduates from The Glasgow School of Art.

The limited edition cassette release includes the exclusive track 'Winner', an under the covers, bedroom R&B jam which will fully stretch your mind and idea of LYLO, their vision and influence.
