Limerance are an acoustic Americana duo, based in Liverpool. Playing original songs with heartfelt, optimistic and interesting lyrics, they have a growing repertoire of original music. Their unique performances comprise of one microphone, one acoustic guitar and two voices in close harmony, which have been compared to Simon and Garfunkel and First Aid Kit.

Limerance have an excellent reputation for their live shows, combining their unmistakable chemistry together with light-hearted chatter, making for engaging performances. They regularly play at The Atkinson Theatre, The Philharmonic Hall, Studio 2 Parr Street and 81 Renshaw Street for numerous events and with various artists.

They launched their debut EP ‘In The First Place’, at Parr Street Studios to a packed audience.

Limerance have supported artists such as Seafoam Green, James Harries, Johnny Sands and Paul Dunbar and the Black Winter Band. They have appeared on ‘The Liverpool Sound’ with ‘Made in Liverpool’, filmed for SoFar Sounds Liverpool, SoFar Sounds London, and ‘Smells Like Van Spirit’. In November 2017, Limerance participated in the final of MerseyRail Sound Station amongst friends and fellow musicians of Liverpool. They have performed at Threshold Festival, Chester Live, SoundCity, Gorjys Secrets Festival and FOCUS Wales.

Limerance will be back in the studio in 2020 to record their debut album!
