Four Play Festival is a progressive folk rock festival, which features four excellent prog folk rock and prog rock bands equally over an afternoon and evening...

The festival will be taking place at the super, industrial vibed, underground, Acoustic Couch. More details will be revealed on the festival web site.

Four Play festival is back at the Acoustic Couch. The first two of these festivals were in April 2016 and 2017. The festival is the brain child of Baz Cilia from Spriggan Mist and Elaine Samuels from Kindred Spirit Band whose bands will be playing at the Festival. Both bands feature many folky elements. with wind instruments and melodic softer moments, the telling of folk tales with pumping harder rock!. Also playing will be EBB. Ebb have redefined themselves as Art Rock. Writing and playing in their own style telling their own stories and wrestling their own concepts seemed the way froward for the five women and one guy. They have been well recieved by all walks ages and genres . And the fourth band to join the gang HAZE. Haze formed in 1978 by the brothers Chris Mcmahon and( bass, keyboards and vocal) and Paul Mcmahon (guitar and vocals). They played their first concert at Stephen Hill Club Sheffield on 10th November that year. They have had several drummers before the longest serving and most notable Paul 'Chis' Chisnell who joined them at the White Lion Huddersfield 19th June 1983. The bands first album C'est La Vie was released on Vinyl with a special concert at Sheffield's The Leadmill on 19th June 1984. in 2013 the band released their first studio album called the The Last Battle. Now Pauls son plays on drums; Danny Macmahon. It is going to be a great night of Prog!

EBB /ɛb/ Verb To move away from...

EBB are a genre defying group of 5 women and one guy; musicians who live within a pagan art collective. Coming from very different social and political backgrounds, they play an eclectic blend of music styles resulting in Prog-Rock...sort of.

On top of their, at times, thunderous soundscapes are the titanic but always beguiling vocals of Erin Bennett; the Texan, award-winning singer/songwriter.

Described variously as 'being the bastard daughter of King Crimson and Heart' or perhaps more cheerfully, 'Prog with songs!'

EBB are truly riveting to watch live.
