It's our final showcase of the year, and as our 12th year of Karousel showcases draws to a close, we're signing off with four of the best. Line Up
Alternative pop artist Viddy brings her seductive, tender and distinctive vocal to the world of alt pop. Match that with hypnotising basslines, suave guitar and a sprinkling of electronica she creates mellow pop songs that capture any audience, their imagination and invite them to share in all their ‘feelz’.
Writing about what is true to her and her relationship experiences, Viddy’s relatable matter contains all kinds of complexities involved in romance, heartbreak, frustration and desire. Radio support so far has come from BBC Radio 1, 6 Music and play listing at Amazing Radio thanks to Shell Zenner. This summer saw Viddy play the legendary Reading and Leeds Festivals and previous support slots have come in abundance across London/Northamptonshire/Beds/Bucks/Herts including the likes of Zuzu, Low Girl, Issy Esau, Abby Roberts and Childcare.
YAZ is a movement.
Based in London, YAZ creates music to promote change from within. Drawing on their multicultural roots, their music fuses Several philosophical attitudes together to try and negotiate Life's challenges. Focusing on silver linings, their message encourages listeners to Persevere and see the brighter side.
Having played multiple sold out shows around the city including Ronnie Scott’s and the troubadour, this band prides itself on imparting positive energy and elevating the crowd. Inspired by the likes of Coldplay and The Lumineers, their Indie pop/rock sound coupled with deep introspective lyrics makes for a unique experience.
With new music on the way, YAZ looks forward to sharing their story with the world.

2023 marks a poignant new epoch for Anna having musicallyremerged from her chrysalis with her most inspired music yet anda pivotal turning point in her career. With an impressive catalogue of music placements in film and TV including the globally acclaimed Grey's Anatomy trailer, FocusFeature film, Every Body, Pretty Little Liars, Famous in Love,Paramount film, The In Between, Nancy Drew, Love Is Blind(Netflix) and has featured in and soundtracked an adrenaline filled Levi's campaign.
With three Top Ten's in the singer-songwriter iTunes charts,Anna has gone on to captivate audiences headlining across the UK,Europe and the US. Headlining shows in NYC, LA, Chicago, andNashville. Anna has captured audiences with TV appearances onCBS LA and London Live and toured the world opening forheavyweight artists such as David Ryan Harris (John Mayer'sguitarist), Jake Isaac and Fatai.
Gaining momentum and traction with nod of approval fromprint/online press, radio and editorial playlists. Anna’s music hasbeen featured in Spotify playlists giants such as New MusicFriday, Easy, Most Beautiful Songs in the World as well asreceiving support from the legendary BBC on shows such as BBCRadio 1, 2, 6 and BBC Introducing in London and Essex.
Hailing from Essex, formed around London, Douglas in Fur occupy a space long awaited. Ambivalent stories spearheaded by wry lyrics hold down the fabric of the group, recalling the likes of Terry Hall and Baxter Dury. The bands 2021 release ‘Fran Smokes Alone’ accompanied well-loved shows around London, followed by their 2022 release ‘Stones in Your Pockets’ which anchored down the groups reputation and sonic singularity.
