Pete Hurt - Saxophone Alcyona Mick - Piano Dave Whitford – Bass Dave Ingomells – Drums

“Pete Hurt presents an evening of musical gems drawing from jazz standards as well as contemporary and original material.”

Pete Hurt has quietly been part of the London jazz scene for almost four decades and has developed one of the most uniquely distinguishable sounds and styles. Apart from his great saxophone playing he has also been recognised for his compositional and arranging skills.

Alcyona Mick is a pianist working at the forefront of the London Jazz scene… Recently nominated for a Parliamentary Jazz Instrumentalist Award, she is a member of the London Jazz Orchestra.

Dave Whitford has become one of London’s most in-demand side-men and can frequently be heard in the capital’s top venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, The Vortex.

David Ingamells has established himself as one of the most versatile jazz drummers of his generation. Recent album releases include Happy Music for Orchestra (Alex Paxton, ’23), Tide Rises (Lauren Bush, ’23), The Defector (Henry Spencer & Juncture, ’23), Golden Sands (Helena Kay’s KIM Trio & Peter Johnstone, ’23), and The Stanley Turrentine Project (Brandon Allen, ’22, UK tour March ’22).
